It IS different than GC; UVAW fills up because there are so many teams playing, GC's visitor fills up because their fans get hard ons yelling at HS kids and mentally handicapped people. I know that for a FACT.
edit-the hard on part isnt a fact lol, but verbally abusing a mentally handicapped person is, I've witnessed it first hand.

when we played pv in 2005 at pv your fans threw rocks at our bus on the way out and told us we sucked, and in the play offs a certain cheerleader held up a sign after the game at like mid field that said "at least you'll be home for the holidays"....there bad apples everywhere, haha i know gate city has bad fans...i mean our goverment houseing is like a minutes walk from the stadium(not putting down those people at all, not all are like that that live in goverment houseing)...and unlike other schools around here everyone comes to watch gate city play, we have a great fan base, and alot of fans...more fans means a bigger chance of wild intoxicated people to be at the games there is nothing good respectable fans can do about thatQuote:

Biggin, being on all 3 types of fields, Field Turf is closer to grass surfaces than that carpet at the college. Only on a rainy day that would cause mud would there be much of a difference, and even at that, the turf at UVAW would not give you the same experience as what a Field Turf field situation would give you.

my sister is married to a stand out on the line from the pv 97 team, he tells me stories all the time about how wild and trash talking the fans and they used to be...
the situation your giving could happen at any ball game around the world inculdeing pv, some dumb redneck or 11 year old could make fun of a mentally challenged person and they probably have...people just hate gate city i guess so it is what it is
I never said GC was the only place that had stupid fans.
GC IS the only place that puts their stupid fans in the visitor section.
